The token

$GARD

The utility layer behind the GARD ecosystem.

The GARD token: a black coin with the lime GARD emblem resting on dark rock

USDC moves value.

Payments stay in a stable asset, where they belong.

GARD evaluates the transaction.

Policy and risk evaluation happens before execution.

$GARD coordinates access.

Intended to coordinate access and economic participation around the protocol.

Why a token?

Payments in USDC. Participation in $GARD.

GARD does not require transactions themselves to be denominated in $GARD. USDC remains the appropriate asset for payments: it is stable and familiar to the people and applications moving money.

$GARD is intended to have separate utility. It is planned to coordinate access to the protocol, reduce fees for committed users, and align the operators who help evaluate transactions.
